Brittany & Alex’s Wedding at Wadsworth Mansion│Riverhouse Catering

Falling in love is one of the most beautiful phases in life. Vowing to that love in a celebration with family and friends makes it all the more special. Brittany and Alex Brunbauer were married on June 3, 2017 at The Wadsworth Mansion at Long Hill Estate with an elegant reception and memorable ceremony.

Their Love Story

Brittany & Alex’s love story began when they met during their junior year of college at Fordham University, thanks to a mutual friend. Their friendship and love continued to grow over those years and Alex proposed at their home in San Francisco. He then surprised Brittany with a flight out to New York and Connecticut the next day so they could celebrate their engagement with all their family and friends.

Picture-perfect Wedding Day

On a gorgeous afternoon in June of 2017, Brittany & Alex exchanged vows and celebrated with their loved ones at The Wadsworth Mansion.

When searching for a wedding venue, the two felt that Wadsworth Mansion simply, “checked all the boxes.”

From elegant, unique décor to stunning grounds surrounding the mansion and a variety of options (rain or shine) for their ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. Brittany and Alex felt confident that their picture-perfect wedding day would come to life at the Wadsworth Mansion.

Personalized, Exquisite Food

The happy couple worked with Riverhouse Catering to create a complete menu from start to finish. Not only did cocktail hour include an assortment of selected, passed hors d’oeuvres, but guests also enjoyed a stationary artisan cheese and meats display and a mashed potato bar chosen by the couple. Guests were able to help themselves to a serving of mashed potatoes with toppings of their choice. It was a great personal touch and the perfect complement to start the evening’s festivities.

In addition to the delicious food, guests also enjoyed the couple’s signature drink of choice throughout the evening the, “French Bulldog.” The couple chose the classy and traditional French 75 cocktail, but decided to change up the name to honor their pup back home.

After an elegant plated dinner, the two shared their first bites of cake as Mr. & Mrs., provided by Kim’s Cottage Confections.

Then, the newlyweds danced the night away to tunes provided by Powerstation Events.

…And a new chapter as Mr. & Mrs. began.
